Graduate Computer Vision Engineer or Computer Vision Engineer

Following successful growth and substantial investment in the business, we are looking for a graduate or an early-career CV engineer to join the team. The selected individual will be part of the team responsible for developing, integrating and maintaining our cutting-edge computer vision system on Antobot’s award-winning mobile robot platform.
Total package £40k - £60k, including £28k - £48k base salary (depending on degree level and experience) + ~£1500 benefits (health and wellbeing, learning and training, etc.) + employee stock options + 25 day holidays + off-site team building + office table tennis
Roles & Responsibilities
Creating, training, and deploying deep learning models
Real-time object detection and tracking
3D localisation, characterisation, segmentation, and visualisation
Efficient management of our proprietary dataset
Required Competency and Skills
Experience developing machine learning algorithms in Python or C/C++
Previous experience with image and image processing, data annotation, and data augmentation
Deep understanding of machine learning methods and the ability to find the relevant literature and quickly acquire new knowledge as needed
Excellent knowledge of classical computer vision methods (feature extraction and histograms, optical flow, camera pose estimation, tracking, etc.) and state-space models (Kalman filters, Multi-Object Trackers, etc.)
A can-do attitude with great flexibility to balance the quality and speed: from quick proof-of-concept work to commercial-grade production software
During the current Covid-19 pandemic, you will be expected to work from home most of the time, and will be using Microsoft Teams and/or other online tools for collaborative work
You will be based in Cambridge or Chelmsford after society returns to normal, but will still often enjoy the great freedom of working from home
