Profyle Card manufactures and sells contactless digital business cards to consumers (b2c) and custom branded cards to businesses (b2b). This is done through a combination of online e-commerce direct to consumers and consultative business sales.
The business was started at the beginning of 2021 by two successful entrepreneurs who are now looking for a part-time General Manager to help support and grow this business. This is an extreemly varied role that will span sales, marketing, process, product development, operations, finance and admin.
The ideal candidate will be looking to step into the role of running a small business - motivated by the opportunity to grow brand awareness, customer base and revenues as well as implement new marketing activities, products and processes.
Whilst we think this is a part-time role to start with, we would expect that if growth of the business continues at the same rate (or more!) over the next 6-12 months that this role would become full time and may also lead to hiring and new team members coming on board.
We'd expect you to split your time across a number of general business activities on a daily basis:
- Responding to customer enquiries (support)
- Researching potential b2b sales and reaching out (sales)
- Managing social media accounts and ads (marketing)
- Improving business processes and dispatching orders (operations)
- Planning product improvements (product)
We think that the ideal candidate would come from a Business, Digital product development, or Marketing degree background. Someone ambitious who wants to run their own company. Perhaps you are an aspiring entrepreneur that perhaps don't have an established business or idea yet. You could be running your own “side gig” and are looking for additional income, another string to their bow and to be mentored by two successful business owners.
