    Engineius’ goal is simple: to make vehicle movement easy. We are on our way to creating the leading end to end movement solution in the UK for our customers (such as Hertz and The AA), delivered by our network of 500+ drivers and transport agents across the UK. 

    We went live over three years ago (April 2018). Since then, we have acquired over 80 clients, 10 of which can claim to be some of the biggest players in the UK automotive industry. We are one of the largest competitors in this space already, but have headroom to grow much bigger. We currently move tens of thousands of vehicles each year. Our vision is to move millions.


    About the position

    We are looking to fill a new Marketing Assistant role with immediate effect. You'll be working in the Commercial team (London based), especially closely with the Marketing Manager to support in day to day tasks and overall marketing strategy. The remainder of the company (business is c.45 employees in total and growing) is largely based in Birmingham or remotely.

    You will ideally be a recent graduate who wants to learn a great deal in the commercial side of the business world. You’ll be helping the team to develop our marketing, branding and communications strategies, providing innovative ideas to help achieve our business targets.

    This role will be fast-paced and needs a self-starter who can manage their own workload and shifting priorities day to day. You will be an early employee joining a rapidly scaling business that has the potential to be a true market leader. You will be well-positioned to move into a senior role ahead of your tenure based on the impact you directly make on the business.


    Key responsibilities

    While supporting the Marketing Manager with day-to-day tasks, your role will primarily focus on the below key areas:

    1. SEO

    • Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
    • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors
    • Use Google Sheets spreadsheets to compile reports
    • Carrying out keyword research using software (e.g. Moz) to optimise web content
    • Perform competitor analysis to identify content gaps and areas for website improvement
    • Ensure the company’s website health is the best it can be, using Semrush to fix errors, issues and warnings on a regular basis
    • Optimise webpages for mobile devices

    2. Content

    • Assist the Content Lead to ensure all graphics are in line with the overall creative vision of the company
    • Structure the monthly driver and customer newsletters, ensuring all blogs, PR content and illustrations (created by the Commercial team) are ready to send
    • Provide regular performance reports from Mailchimp
    • Help to ensure all driver awards and community webpages are engaging and up to date
    • Essential: Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
    • Preferable: Figma

    3. Analytics

    • Assess the results of marketing campaigns
    • Help to build upon and maintain all marketing analytics (e.g. website, social media, email campaigns) on Google Data Studio, using Supermetrics
    • Help to understand who is using Engineius’ website (i.e. drivers vs customers) by utilising and sharing various reports via Google Analytics

    4. Social Media

    • Manage the social media calendar, posting on Engineius’ social media platforms. including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, and sharing posts with the internal team
    • Grow social media following and interactions with customers and drivers
    • Mindmap campaign ideas for key social media dates
    • Report analytics of all campaigns and social media posts to the Marketing Manager on a regular basis

    Other details: 

    • 25 days’ annual leave in addition to standard UK Bank Holidays and other Public Holidays
    • Three-month probationary period
    • Hours of work are 08:30-17:30 Mon-Fri
    • Role reports into the Marketing Manager, with direct also from the Commercial Director
