Job Title: Java Developer

Reporting to: Head of Technology

GoodBox, providing support for the UK’s biggest charities.

We are GoodBox - a start-up dedicated to building new technologies that connect donors with wonderful causes.

Since 2016, we have dedicated ourselves to solving the negative impact a cashless society is having on the charity sector. By harnessing the power of contactless technology, our products are helping the UK charities receive up to 64% more in donations. Together, we are shaping the future of fundraising.

We are growing fast. We have got over 1,500 clients on our books and we are planning to turn over £2 million in the next 12 months. This year, we are planning international expansion with a range of new products and services. We have got big ambitions and are looking for people with a similar mindset..

About You

You are a senior Java developer, who enjoys understanding complex solutions and strives to improve them. Your past experience encompasses multiple projects, some of them in a leading role from the technology standpoint.

You like taking ownership of solving a problem end-to-end, persevering in overcoming unexpected challenges and tackling complex issues that have no obvious solution. You're good at flagging hidden problems and risks, spotting issues that others have missed and are proactive in bringing the potential impact to others' attention. You constructively challenge the status quo proposing specific improvements.

You are looking for a company where you can work on long term product development and be part of something bigger than yourself. Instead of jumping from project to project, you are interested instead in expanding existing solutions to new heights.

You enjoy being part of a multi-cultural team, eager to learn and offer support to your colleagues.
