You will be a business thinker with strong communication skills and a go-getter attitude. You’ll need to be passionate about communication and idea generation. Ideally, a passion for being entrepreneurs and events would be great!
What Does Community Manager Do? You will work alongside the Founder and CEO helping to grow the company and also the event series we have which features top startups and investors. Helping to organize events, generate interest in the brand, as well as help with generating sales and sign-ups for the community.
You Should also… Be passionate about startups have 2+ years of experience with events or working to build startup communities.
Be a clear communicator, who is confident in their writing ability and in-person communication
Be a creative writer and thinker – able to explain/articulate your ideas well
Be a team player
Be able to work independently
Have a positive attitude, enthusiasm and work well under pressure
Be able to use research and insights to develop creative ideas
Have exceptional grammar and spelling
Be proactive and excited by new challenges,
Manage the work load of 2 part time employees.
Project & Management Experience
2 days a week minimum plus 3-4 eveninig event a month (combination of in persona nd , we generally expect a 10-6 workday.
