We are looking for someone to be a significant contributor to our web applications and EPoS software, who has experience writing modern, clean React, with good knowledge of Redux/State management, and previous experience working on web-applications. Experience working in a fully remote team is also desired, responding quickly and communicating clearly to ensure productivity, creativity and team spirit is able to thrive.

    About the team

Our production team is fully remote. We have worked in a distributed manner for several years and we know how to make that work properly. Kobas code has been inspired by Cornish Beaches and Spanish sunshine, and from London to Bucharest. We use Slack and Teams to keep in touch and work closely and collaboratively.

Technology-wise, Kobas Front-end is primarily built with React and SASS, as well as legacy code in AngularJS and LESS. With heavy use of tools and libraries that include Redux/Webpack/TypeScript/Babel/Yarn/Jest and many more. The Back-end is written in PHP 7.4/8.0, using MariaDB 10.5 as our relational database engine, and ActiveRecord, Silex, and Symfony for MVC frameworks. Git is our version control system and we track feature development and bugs in YouTrack. Our production platform is 100% Amazon AWS, from Route 53 through S3, EC2 instances and of course RDS.
