We're looking for a creative designer with a passion for creating best in class user experiences, an eye for clean aesthetics and interactions, and an interest in telling stories with data (aka data visualization).
Lautonomy is on a mission to make law better able to deliver for people and the planet. We're using AI and Machine Learning to reduce the time and cost of legal services and to craft automated monitoring and governence frameworks. We’re still in the early stages but have some exciting things going on behind the scenes. Current projects include work on evidencing ecocide and climate change harms; triaging legal help to refugees and torture victims; and mapping global opportunities for impact litigation.
You'll need some experience with frontend design processes, including wireframing and prototyping. It's a bonus if you have familiarity with frontend coding, and especially so if you've used the Svelte framework.
We're looking for someone keen to grow with us so would expect this to lead to an offer of employment assuming there's a good fit. Working hours are highly flexible and not more than 10 hours per week. This role would particularly suit someone currently studying or working in academia. Our preference is for someone London-based but that's not a deal-breaker.
You'll be working closely with the founder and CTO, so this is an opportunity to be a core part of building an exciting social impact startup, using law to make the world a better, cleaner, kinder place. We hope you'll join us!
