    Salary £40,000 to £50,000 basic plus Double OTE, uncapped.

    We’re a tech scale-up looking for a driven individual to join our fast-growing company. Built-ID is looking to hire an entrepreneurial business development manager with experience in consultative new business and software sales to drive business growth for our company.

    The platform enables communities and hard-to-reach groups to shape the places in which they live, work & play, whilst also donating to local charities. This is achieved via gamified surveys, which makes it quick, fun & easy for the community to meaningfully engage with projects, whilst simultaneously making it easy for decision-makers to act on the data-driven insights provided. In doing so, both social needs & business requirements are at the centre of change.

    Our clients include TFL, Legal & General, local councils, Grosvenor Estate, Manchester Arena, The City of London, Oxford University and many more, both in the UK and increasingly overseas.

    Requirements

    Our Ideal Candidate

    With 2 - 4 years of new business and software sales experience under your belt, you have a knack for generating opportunities and using your entrepreneurial qualities to drive new business. You have strong communication and presentation skills, able to assert and speak confidently with different stakeholders. Your excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills ensures you identify and deliver the best possible commercial solutions. You are a strong negotiator, focused on achieving your set goals and targets whilst knowing when to compromise and when to take a stand.

    You are energised by collaborating and building relationships and you are certainly not one to shy away from networking and representing our company at events. Whilst you may not have experience in property development/PropTech, you must have an interest and willingness to immerse yourself in learning about the industry. You are tech savvy and passionate about using tech for social impact and good.

     

    What you'll be doing

    • Working for a leading PropTech company focusing on Property Development, Local Authorities, ESG, Leisure and Renewable Energy.
    • Identify and target new business development opportunities in our key sectors and explore new opportunities.
    • Build a strong sales pipeline from SDR team generated meetings, follow up marketing events & campaigns and self-generated prospective opportunities.
    • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow the business and promote our Brand.
    • Conduct value-oriented consultative discussions with prospective clients to understand their business needs and how our product can meet those needs.
    • Demonstrate the product to prospective clients to illustrate the capabilities of our product and alignment to clients’ business needs.
    • Deliver revenue objectives quarterly and annually through personal effort and with team members.
    • Provide accurate sales pipeline and forecasts to the Management team giving a candid analysis and review of past and predicted sales activities, HubSpot experience a bonus.
    • Collaborate effectively with SDR, Account Management and Marketing teams
    • Learn and network within the wider commercial property market.
    • Represent the company at networking and trade events.
    • Great self-awareness, and willing to take on board constructive feedback, endeavouring to improve (we are proud of a culture that focuses on people’s strengths, but steps in to compensate for any ‘weaknesses’).
