About the role:
Exciting opportunity to be the first-ever Business Analyst at incard and play a key role in leading the analysis of how new product features should be carried out. As part of this role, you will:
Support the development of our product ensuring analytics capability is consistent
Work with business teams to test and learn new technical solutions, helping to introduce data driven solutions
Conduct requirements gathering sessions with various levels of the business ensuring that strategic needs are being met and incremental benefits realised
Design and facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, discovery activities to elicit requirements/user stories from stakeholders
Produce high quality business cases, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, functional and non-functional specifications
Support the system test teams, helping with understanding of the change and reviewing test cases
Understand how data flows through the relevant interfaces and an analysis of the existing and future data requirements for analysis, recovery and security
Play a key part in working effectively to identify and deliver project incentives and ensure ongoing continuous improvement across the department’s activities
Build strong productive relationships with the business, technology and external third parties to deliver effective solutions
Skills and requirements:
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Prior experience working in a matrix team across multiple internal and external teams including third party suppliers
A strong background as a Business Analyst within an Agile Scrum team and product development environment
Experienced in Agile and DevOps best practices
An understanding and applied knowledge of User Experience and Customer Journey concepts
An understanding of all or parts of data management
You have a solid understanding of statistical techniques, strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to drive actionable insights from massive data sets
You can design clean and intuitive dashboards in tools like Power BI, Google Data Studio.
