Do you find yourself constantly researching and watching YouTube videos about Google Ads, Facebook Ads and other advertising channels, wishing you could manage huge advertising budgets for local and national clients?

Why??
 
Well, our start-up agency is looking to take on 2 hardworking and motivated marketing/advertising enthusiasts for a 12 month paid internship program (with a possibility of a full time hire!!)
 
As a Paid Media Intern at JBI Advertising, you will gain practical, on-the-job experience working with top social marketers on work for some of our amazing clients.
 
As a paid media intern you will:
  • Work with our Paid Media team
  • Coordinate with your manager to understand the clients' advertising goals.
  • Assist with the campaign structure, set up, execution, category research and success reporting
  • Manage micro ad accounts of $1-5k/month advertising budgets
 
In return, we will expect you to keep the team up to date on the status of projects, take notes during meetings and share appropriately and become an advertising genius within the first 3 months of your internship.

If you love marketing or strategy. Or if you are just a tiny bit ‘geeky’ then you will LOVE working for us. If you know your way around a bit of code, even better!
 
This is a 12-month paid internship with the potential for a full-time position afterwards. We find resumes don’t really give us the whole picture of your ability and skills, so you need to apply by following the instructions below.
 
You will need to be hard-working first and foremost. 
 

Attributes we are looking for:

  • Solution-oriented: interested in solving simple and complex problems using problem-solving skills.
  • Good communicator: can articulate and present (presentation) ideas and strategies in a way that is easy to understand and digest. 
  • Strategic thinker: always seeking ways to improve, optimise or find more effective and more efficient ways of doing things. 
  • Detail-oriented: has an eye and attention to detail, obsessed with understanding what drives clicks and conversions on ads and funnels. Someone who would be happy to have a team built around them, whilst helping lesser experienced team members grow.
  • Ambitious & motivated: we are looking for an individual who is ambitious and wants to hold senior positions in the short term and has a financially driven mindset. 
  • Building reports: assist management in retrieving data from multiple data sources, cleaning, storing and analysing data to help inform decisions about how to effectively tweak our funnel and scale campaigns. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline preferred
