KitGIANT is a versatile multi-vendor marketplace that allows small and medium producers of DIY solutions to set up shops and sell their making kits to consumers.
The value to sellers is that KitGIANT will enable them to retail their products to a world of new customers. They’ll have at their fingertips all tools needed for a powerful and complete e-commerce shop (easy order management, powerful shop front customisation, payments handled instantly and securely, discount coupons and many more) without needing to activate any digital campaigns to raise awareness.
For the consumers the value comes from being able to access a single online platform for swiftly exploring and discovering a broad range of DIY Kits at a competitive price. By entering the delivery postcode they can search by product, price range, or pick-up/delivery, browse photo galleries and read reviews.
About the roles
I am looking to build a team of people that are keen to work on this idea, people with a passion for DIY and for helping small and medium businesses to bounce back during these challenging times. If the idea proves successful and sustainable, there could be an opportunity to raise investment and take the business to the next level.
KitGIANT is built and I am now in the final testing phase before launch. However, there is a lot of work to do. The specific roles/actions we need to focus on are as follows:
- Growth, specifically low-cost channels such as PR
- Supply, growing the number of sellers on the platform
- Content management, including blogs and social media
Equity split depending on skills and overall contribution
Salary will be introduced once an investment has been secured
