  • Fertifa is a leading provider of fertility, family-forming and menopause benefits to companies across the UK.

    The benefits have been a common feature of benefit packages in the US for several years now, but Fertifa was the first company to bring the concept to the UK market. Although it is still a relatively new idea over here, businesses large and small are increasingly seeing the value of bridging the workplace wellness gap and offering an inclusive and comprehensive level of support for anyone struggling with fertility issues, regardless of gender, relationship status or sexuality.

    Following the early success of our fertility benefits offering, we expanded our services to deliver support for other key life stages, including a clinically-led menopause package, which connects employees with specialist doctors, nurses and advisors.

    Our benefits programme is tailored to a company’s demographic, size and budget. We work with companies to:

    • Raise awareness of fertility, family-forming and menopause challenges at the workplace
    • Engage employees to be proactive about their reproductive health
    • Provide 1-2-1 support for employees throughout their fertility and menopause journeys
    • Provide fertility and menopause health assessments and treatment for employees
    • Connect employees directly with medical experts, cutting out long wait times

    Our next step in the journey? We’re looking for a Head of Business Operations to join the team.

    The Role
    This is an exciting opportunity to join the Fertifa team. The Head of Business Operations will work closely with the senior management team and run many of the day-to-day back-office functions of the business.

    The candidate will excel at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders while also being extremely self-motivated to scale the operations of the business. They will be a quick learner and not be afraid to get “stuck in” to solve problems.

    Above all else, you will be a doer and executer.

    You will be the go-to person for:
    • Improving operational efficiencies across the business – both with respect to the work that we do internally as well as our client and patient pathways
    • Building, tracking and reporting on KPIs, OKRs across various business functions
    • Leading on onboarding processes for new clients – including due diligence and contract reviews
    • Oversight of our IT systems, controls and processes
    • Owning some of our finance, facilities and HR processes
    • Delivering on new service streams / product implementations
    • Supporting with the ongoing development of our quality management systems
    • Developing new partnerships and synergies with external parties

    Skills & Attributes
    We’re looking for someone with:
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior operations role
    • A proven record of:
    o Building and scaling operational functions
    o Delivering on special projects, new service lines and products
    o Development of KPI / OKR reporting packs
    • Experience of working in a healthcare setting with an awareness of what patient pathways could look like
    • The ability to lead on our internal tech infrastructure – and ideally someone that’s an IT expert in being the admin for our IT system including O365, HubSpot, Stripe and Jira
    • The ability to create good business cases and convince internal stakeholders to help you execute
    • Experience of communicating operational data to various internal and external stakeholders
    • A working familiarity with ISO27001 frameworks and GDPR legislation
    • Financial literacy – including experiencing with managing day-to-day financing processes such as management accounts and financial modelling
    • Proven analytical skills to compile large amounts of data into an understandable format for decision-making
    • Intellectually curious, with a keen interest in health and wellbeing
