About Bridebook

Weddings are one of the most important days in many people's lives but planning them is daunting, stressful, emotional and often overwhelming. Bridebook brings wedding planning into the modern age, making it as stress-free and rewarding as it should be. We give couples everything they need to create the perfect day in the palm of their hands. For venues, photographers, caterers and all the other amazing people that make the day special, we help them grow their business and free them from finding couples, so they can focus on what they love and do best. We have helped over 1 million people celebrate in style and 2 out of 3 engaged couples in the UK are currently using Bridebook to plan their special day.

Over the past 18 months we have achieved record growth in spite of the covid-19 pandemic and are now investing heavily in Product & Technology to achieve our ambitious goals. We are a well funded start-up backed by some of the world’s leading investors who share our vision of supporting people through a truly pivotal moment in their lives and disrupting a huge, under-digitised industry.

Main responsibilities

As Senior Product Manager you will work closely with a Senior Engineer to lead the Sales & Monetisation product development team. This cross functional team is  responsible for delivering impactful change, autonomously, in line with the overall product strategy.

Your primary objective is growing the number of wedding suppliers paying to be on the Bridebook platform and the average fees paid by them. Understanding suppliers’ needs and behaviours, and how Bridebook can create value for them, is the foundation of this role.

You will work very closely with the Commercial team (sales, account management and B2B marketing) to identify opportunities, build a strategic roadmap and execute.

You will be responsible for:

  • Innovating, experimenting and iterating at speed: Working with your cross functional team, you will look for signals and find creative ways to test and validate hypotheses
  • Data-driven decision-making: Finding and using data to support your reasoning, while knowing that ambiguous problems have trade-offs and not everything can be measured
  • Influencing and communication: Building relationships with your team and stakeholders; become the ‘go-to’ person for your product area and translating complex problems into understandable concepts
  • Customer advocacy: Understanding the needs of our suppliers, and using this to drive effective prioritisation decisions
  • Shipping stuff: Working with your team to create a high velocity cadence of delivering value  while constantly looking to improve ways of working

As a Senior Product Manager, you will also be expected to take a meaningful role in shaping Product Management within the company, mentoring colleagues and evangelising a product-led culture.

  • Curiosity and drive: You aren’t afraid of a challenge, stay curious and adapt quickly. You are relentless in your pursuit of delivering value
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills: You start with the ‘why?’ and then use data and reasoning to solve the problem
  • Collaborative leadership: You are a charismatic leader who can motivate and earn the trust of stakeholders and teams with a collaborative approach
  • Born entrepreneur: You are excited by creating user experiences that deliver value to the business as well as the customer. You want to help build a category-defining company with global reach
