The Company:
Shopwave is creating a full-stack operating system for retailers. From online to in-store, POS, payments, drone Delivery and integration with Deliveroo / Uber Eats. Basically, everything you use to buy anything, anywhere. Our customers today include: Deliveroo, Facebook and 1000’s more.  

Responsibilities:


  • Make sure our customers, investors and partners love our company. This will range from content creation and support to automating as many tasks as possible. The end goal is leaving all stakeholders engaged and in a state of zen, so much so that they want to shout out to the world how awesome we are. In corporate speak: Help Shopwave achieve the highest Net Promotor Score (NPS) within our industry. 

  • Automate payments for our customers using tools like Stripe, GoCardless and Xero. Step in where automated process fails. You will quickly learn who is who within the global FinTech landscape and build awesome relationships.

  • App issue testing, replication and remediation. We have a world class engineering team but sometimes bugs make it into the wild. When reported by a customer you will need to work to understand the issue, replicate it and help the engineering team fix it. We will teach you the ways or Jira, Notion and the end to end App development lifecycle. 

  • Development & strategy: Have insights from customers, read about something we missed? Help us shape the future. If it improves our product or company, saves money or makes money, we want to know about it and will work with you to make it happen. If you are technical this can include turning ideas into live product.


The ideal candidate:


  • Confidant enough to think you can handle all of the above and more, while humble.

  • Have a good idea about what you want to achieve from taking this role. e.g. Learn the skills to start your own start up / get so good that you can challenge the actual CEO for their position etc. Our last 2 interns have: 





    • Helped build our iOS Stock App - moved to San Fransisco to work with Google / Nest.

    • Worked on Intercom.io integration, sales and support - Just raised £375k to start their own startup.





  • Happy / positive with a good sense of humour and a smile.

  • Genuine passion for business / technology and well read in this space.

  • Ability to travel into Central London.

  • Ability to speak / read and write great English.

  • Know iOS / Keynote or PowerPoint and Excel or Numbers inside out.
