We are a start-up design and technology incubator, first tackling the cyber security industry. And we come with the might of a wider group of companies, all with the same ethos and history of achievements. If you want to be part of this journey then we'd love to speak with you.

We're looking for several Product Designers with strong UI/UX skills and a passion for designing world class web applications to work on a number of products we have, each at different stages of their lifecycle. If that sounds like something you'd be excited about, we'd love to talk.

Being an incubator for ambitious product ideas we're leveraging a design-led approach to break through traditional teaching and learning approaches, giving you the independence and support to push the boundaries of what's possible. Within a design-centric culture, led by one of our founders, the Chief Creative Officer, this role will provide you with an environment to grow as a designer whilst also giving you the chance to take strong design ownership of the products you're working on and be part of a growing design team still establishing its approach, processes and design philosophy.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting extensive UX research (e.g. user interviews, usability tests, workshops, product analytics review) to find ways to improve our products for users.
  • Creating user flows and wireframes to understand and improve user journeys throughout the products.
  • Building low fidelity prototypes to test new functionality and iterations on the existing product with users.
  • Designing engaging and functional user interfaces, including the creation of extensive and robust component libraries in tools like Figma.
  • Working with front and backend developers to implement designs to an extremely high standard.

About you

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Excellent knowledge of design fundamentals, with experience applying that knowledge to design solutions for complex product problems.
  • Previous experience conducting extensive user research to improve a product experience, including interviewing users, conducting moderated usability tests, analysing product analytics, and other approaches.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma, and a solid appreciation of other leading design and prototyping tools like Sketch or similar.
  • Experience designing complex user interfaces and extensive component libraries which are high quality, engaging, accessible and functional.
  • A solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, usability considerations etc.

We hope that you love your job because of our mission, culture and the work. But, we also put a lot of thought into providing great benefits to make your job that bit sweeter, such as:

  • Flexible & remote working. We are a remote-first business with flexibility for you to work in tandem with your home life. We also have access to an office in the Cotswolds so we still meet up regularly, but more for socials.
  • Great equipment and software. All team members use high spec Mac's and the latest software to make working enjoyable and easy. Plus, we can kit you out with any peripherals you may need.

  • Thoughtful onboarding. Joining a new company can be daunting, we want you to succeed so we have a programme to get you up to speed with our culture and your role.
  • A bigger team. We're part of a collection of companies (including Helical Levity, Spinning Fox and Secure Impact) run by the same leadership team. So there is lots of shared learning and some epic summer parties.
