That’s why we’re hiring an accomplished People Manager to oversee all aspects of the employee experience and HR process. You’ll be the go-to person for all employee-related matters including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent management.  

    The ideal candidate will have experience working in People Operations/HR with a proven track record building scalable people processes and managing people policies.  We are looking for an energetic individual who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up but is equally as comfortable advising the senior leadership team.

    The Senior People Manager will report to the Founder & CEO. This is a newly created role so presents a great opportunity to shape our people function.

    The role itself will involve:

    • Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Manage the employee onboarding and off-boarding process with the support of the office & admin assistant
    • Be a key point person for employee relations, concerns, issues and grievances
    • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organisation’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning
    • Work with the financial controller to inform our compensation and benefits arrangements
    • Champion D&I within the business and lead D&I initiatives
    • Maintain our HR software, Charlie HR
    • Run our end of year and mid-year performance review processes
    • Build and oversee our annual L&D program including tailored development goal setting for teams and individuals
    • Oversee our coaching program for the SLT
    • Responsible for building and maintaining our employer branding
    • Make sure YF is a great place to work and that our people feel supported

     Key skills and attributes:

    • 5+ years of experience in People Operations/HR, preferably in an entrepreneurial environment
    • Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire growing teams with years of strong people management experience
    • A people-oriented leader with natural competence for building interpersonal relationships at all levels of an organisation
    • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices
    • Experience developing and reviewing HR policies for both legislative compliance and in alignment with an organisation's culture
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment by prioritising situations that require a sense of urgency
    • Experience leading recruitment and coordinating the recruiting process

     Location: Vauxhall, London.

    Full time or part-time role with minimum 3 days per week in the office.
