     We are looking for a motivated and high-achieving Engineering Manager to join our Engineering team in London. You will manage a team building a platform to optimize every business on the planet.

    Roles and Responsibilities 

     We are looking for an experienced and ambitious leader to develop our Causal AI platform. You will lead an Engineering team which is composed of software engineers and machine learning engineers. You should have a proven experience programming across the tech stack and be comfortable writing code as well as be strong at communicating your ideas and helping others in the team to develop themselves.  

    The main web application stack includes Python, Django, FastApi, Celery, Postgres on the backend, with React and Typescript on the frontend. We also make use of Redis, Cython, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, Torch, Ansible, Terraform, AWS, GCP, Azure and many other technologies throughout the rest of the stack. 


    Job requirements 

    • Experience as a senior software engineer 
    • Ability to design and architect high-performance distributed software 
    • Proficiency in Python 
    • Understanding of the full stack, from REST backends to modern SPA frontends 
    • Experience with React or similar frameworks (VueJS, AngularJS) 
    • In-depth understanding of computer architecture and distributed systems is a plus 
    • Interest in machine learning/big data (prior experience is a plus) 
    • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (version control, tooling, testing, debugging, etc.) 
    • Ideally you should be able to work in London or be able to commute. Candidates outside of London who are interested in relocating will be considered.
