At Vivacity we're making cities smarter, using our cutting edge AI to support sustainable, citizen-centric transport networks. As part of Vivacity's People team, you'll be helping to make Vivacity the best place to work that it can be. We raised our Series A in early 2021 and have been through a period of huge growth. We're looking for a People Manager to help maintain our friendly, open culture, and support and grow our amazing team. You can read more about our values and what it's like to work at Vivacity.

    About you

We're looking for a passionate and approachable People Manager, with three years of HR experience, ideally in a fast-growing tech company. You'll be excited by executing strategic projects and improving processes, but also keen to get stuck into some admin-heavy recruitment and HR tasks.

    What you'll be doing

    • Looking after our recruitment, onboarding and day-to-day HR (we use Lever and Sapling, although evolving these processes and looking at new systems will be part of your remit).

    • Handling the majority of employee documentation, including contracts, visa sponsorship and ongoing employee letters.

    • Working with our Finance and Office & Compliance teams to strengthen our policies and benefits.

    • Supporting the Head of People in building strong HR processes and rolling out new initiatives and tools (we've got some exciting ones in the pipeline for 2022).

    • Strengthening our EDI and mental health and wellbeing initiatives, working closely with teams and committees across the business.

You don't need to have done all of these things before, but to excel in this role you will need to be keen to learn and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. If you're this close to what we're looking for, please consider applying. Experience comes in many forms, skills are transferable and passion goes a long way.

    What we offer

    • Great career progression and a £750 annual personal learning and development budget

    • Flexible working and a working from home budget

    • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

    • Cycle to work scheme

    • Fully stocked kitchen, office library, team social budgets and an annual company away trip

    Hiring process

We'll ask you to answer a set of competency-based questions and submit your CV. The next round will be an interview with Lindsey, our Head of People. The final stage will be a three part interview with people from across Vivacity where we'll assess your understanding of our product and your soft skills, and you'll meet one of our founders.
