Who are we?
Outfly is London’s leading design innovation agency. Over the last 10 years we’ve been disrupting the model of traditional agencies to make something that works for the high-speed challenger brands of today. We work with innovation wings, social impact startups, entrepreneurs and fast-paced tech companies to help the people that need it most. We do everything from brands, websites, marketing, business plans, pitch decks, video shoots, app designs, product designs, office designs (lots of designs), copywriting, message aligning, immersive experiences and social media.
We don’t get briefed, we get challenged.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be a bit of an undiscovered genius, obviously. We’re looking for an all round UX superstar, a creative and strategic blend. We need you to be able to own projects, crafting flawless user flows and turning those into game changing experience designs. You’ll have the support of the rest of the strategic and design team, but you will be the central cog bringing it all together. This is someone who can see the big picture, has the confidence to pitch and realise creative ideas, with the focus to carry them out.
You’ll spend your days working closely with our strategic and creative directors and our head of marketing to help them revolutionise our partners’ brands from the focal point of pure UX. The aim of the game will be to create experiences and journeys that deliver on business goals while being highly usable and delightful.
Most of your time will be spent in either strategy workshops, or taking point on our ongoing UX projects, from traditional digital UX design to immersive experiences and full scale service design. This means everything from running workshops to user flows, wireframing feasible designs in consultation with our dev team, to rolling out UI with the support of the wider design team. We’re a crazy supportive and collaborative company, but this role will best suit someone with independent drive. The right person will run ahead, researching best practices, innovating around them, and getting stuck in, fast.
We’ve got some pretty crazy workshops, but we’re always open to innovate so you’ll be expected to own the process, improving our offering and running the workshops yourself within the first two months.
Our partners are fast-growing tech startups with an appetite for disruption. You’ll need to be able to understand complicated concepts quickly, the big picture that connects them, and provide insights to help them clarify their message and position. You’ll then need to be able to formalise these into beautiful, well written, well designed strategic decks.
