    EVERYTHING is a UK-based tech company on a mission to build the next social finance experience tailor-made for Gen-Z’s. To begin with, we’re launching the world’s only free card that can make you and your friends win instant hard cold cash on every *tap*. Yep, you read that right.     EVERYTHING was founded in the summer of 2021 by a group of serial entrepreneurs who have deep experience in the fintech space. So far, we have raised €2M from one of the largest institutional payment providers and a group of renowned angel investors who have founded multiple unicorns๐Ÿฆ„. Right now, we are moving incognito until we get a bit closer to launch in Q1 2022.

    The role:๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿš€

    We’re looking for a proactive and independent Compliance Manager to work alongside senior leaders in the business and build a progressive fintech compliance function. You should be comfortable managing day-to-day compliance operations as we launch our first products and be excited by the opportunity to intertwine effective risk-based compliance with exceptional customer experience.

    The Crew: ๐Ÿ‘ฅ

    We’re a small team of 10, located in three locations, London๐Ÿ’‚, Stockholm ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช and Iceland๐ŸŒ‹ and are growing quickly with ambitions to triple the team size during next year.


    • Minimum 2 years experience working in Compliance or Risk (ideally within a UK regulated fintech)
    • Working knowledge of KYC, AML, data protection, transaction monitoring and financial compliance procedures, systems and controls.
    • Proven experience managing day-to-day customer onboarding and monitoring across risk levels.
    • Knowledge of financial services legislation and compliance in the UK (EU and EEA would be helpful)
    • Analytical mindset and meticulous organisation skills and you pride yourself on having good attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a commercial, solutions oriented mindset.
    • Ability to work independently and communicate reports, findings and results to the business.
    • A keen interest in fintech and an intention to build a compliance career in the sector.
    • A compliance qualification like ICA and previous experience as an FCA approved person is helpful but not essential


    Responsibilities: ๐Ÿ“‹

    Lead the development of our fintech function, balancing an impressive customer experience with risk-based compliance and regulatory requirements. You will:

    • Manage the day-to-day onboarding and monitoring of EVERYTHING customers.
    • Conducting enhanced due diligence on flagged customers, comments, complaints and transactions and managing communications with the customers and business leaders.
    • Ensuring that ongoing regulatory and umbrella reporting requirements are met.
    • Developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, systems and controls to reflect best practices and industry guidelines.
    • Proactively testing and monitoring high-risk areas to ensure policy, procedures, and processes are working as intended.
    • Be an vocal part of our product team, ensuring that compliance is actively involved when launching new features
    • Work closely with our MLRO, DPO, COO and legal counsel to ensure that compliance and data privacy matters integral to our business operations are being adhered to.
    • Work proactively across departments to resolve compliance queries
    • Build and manage a trusted relationship with our regulatory umbrella provider.

    Within one month, you will:

    • Understand how EVERYTHING works, meet the team and hit the ground running.
    • Assess our existing procedures, policies, systems and controls.
    • Drafted a compliant customer onboarding and monitoring approach. 

    Within three months, you will:

    • Be managing our compliant day-to-day customer onboarding and monitoring.
    • Be conducting enhanced due diligence on customers and transactions and reporting on the outcomes.
    • Be the central point of contact for compliance questions, analysis and advice.
    • Implement the required changes to existing systems, procedures and controls and manage their evolution.

    Within six months, you will:

    • Be the central point of contact for compliance questions, analysis and advice and the main liaison with Railsbank.
    • Be managing regulatory reporting requirements.
    • Have embedded yourself in the new product development process.
    • Have built a roadmap for the evolution of an industry leading compliance function.
    • Begun hiring and managing a compliance team.


    • We’re remote first, work from anywhere you like or join us in Stockholm, Reykjavik or the greater London area.
    • You get £400 a month to use for a co-working space.
