Job description

We are looking for an extremely organised admin and operations assistant with a can do attitude to join our start up. Tasks include sending emails, packing orders, managing communication and operational tasks.

Candidate will be working closely with our founder to ensure smooth running of operational tasks and support the growth of the business.

  • Pick customer orders from stores or warehouses
  • Take the orders to our nearby fulfilment centre where you’ll efficiently and accurately prepare the orders for delivery.
  • Print labels, safely pack orders in boxes while paying attention to product and order details.
  • Contacting suppliers and searching online for hard to find products
  • Communicate with customers
  • Updating inventory on our website backend,

Social media skills would be an additional benefit to support our posts on instagram, tiktok, pinterest and facebook.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in admin, retail and/or warehouse environments
  • Comfortable using handheld technology (mobile) device to process orders, scanners, computers, and printers
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Efficiency while demonstrating care and concern for customer shopping as if they were shopping for their own families
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • General knowledge of basic web based software applications (G-Suite, Microsoft Office)
  • Reliable, punctual and eagerness to maintain good attendance

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A functioning, registered vehicle with vehicle insurance would be beneficial

Part-time hours: 10 per week
