What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Logistics Coordinator you will work very closely with the UK warehouses to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time, by providing them with support for the management of inbound, outbound and stock, whilst also looking at ways to drive improvements.

Areas of responsibility will include:

  • Day to day management of our 3PL warehouses & working closely with our In-house Logistics team
  • There are three key areas of focus
    • Inbound purchase orders from arrival at port to warehouse receipt
    • The timely dispatch of customer orders
    • Stock reconciliation between warehouse management system and MADE ERP system
  • Escalation point for day-to-day issues including warehouse capacity, customer service queries and ad-hoc requests
  • Creating and managing Inbound and dispatch plans
  • Working collaboratively with the wider operations team to ensure ultimately successful delivery to the customer
  • UK Logistics Subject Matter Expert, providing the key business link between the warehouse and other departments at MADE
  • Manage a small team of Logistics Coordinators, ensuring that they have clear responsibilities and processes, setting them appropriate professional & development targets & objectives

Measures of success

• Inbound receipts within internal service level agreements

• Customer orders dispatched on-time and in full

• Warehouse stock accuracy

  • Supporting the business growth strategy by developing a stable and flexible warehouse operation


What you’ll need
  • Excellent Excel skills. We’re talking Vlookup, IF Statements, Pivot tables

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and Influence across all levels

• Excellent Analytical skills, great at pattern recognition

• Great attention to detail and ability to carry out root-cause analysis

• A drive to review, understand and improve processes and data accuracy, using a data-led approach to Inform decision making

  • An Inquisitive mindset and desire to challenge the status quo

• Ability to prioritise workload effectively and work well under pressure

  • Happy with a level of autonomy, as well as working within a team

• At least 12 months relevant experience within a retail head office environment

  • Line management experience required, with an ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Experience of 3PL management preferable
