    THE ROLE

    There is nothing more important to Festicket’s ongoing success and profitability than our client’s satisfaction. Making sure we pay our partners and promoters on time is a huge part of this; non-payment is the biggest factor contributing to why clients leave us. Whether representing one festival or multiple, our drive towards profitability has meant more proactivity in support of fewer ‘primary’ promoters and partners. Therefore this role goes above processing payments. There are opportunities to partner with clients and deliver proactive solutions such as accurate and detailed reporting, issue identification and efficient proactive resolution, and relationship building through concise and clear communication.

    You will accomplish these objectives by performing the following tasks:

    • Coding invoices via chart of accounts and going on to process operational invoices for workflow approval in Netsuite.
    • Review employee expenses to ensure expenses are claimed in line with company policy. Prepare monthly journals for review to capture all charges to the correct cost centres.
    • To run weekly payment runs ensuring close attention to detail and that all checks and approvals are undertaken.
    • To be the first point of contact and responsible for the AP G&A and Accommodation process for several different entities.
    • Assist in weekly Bank Reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
    • Assisting with Month End procedures.
    • Maintain the age creditors, providing an understanding of all aged items and upon any supplier discrepancies.
    • Assist the AP manager on Promoter Payments allowing you a broader understanding of the overall financial function of a highly transactional and scaling b2b2c tech marketplace.

    Requirements

    We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that learning, growth and development should be part of any role you do. So some of the role will be learning as you go, and we hope that’s exactly what you are looking for. However, some experience in the following is important for the role:

    • Must have at least 1 years experience working in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable or have completed a degree in Finance.
    • Good knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures.
    • Knowledge of accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Good organisational skills.
    • Ambitious and keen to learn
    • Strong attention to detail
