    Cypher inspires children to learn the language of the future through creatively themed coding camps and clubs, live online and in-person. At our holiday camps and after-school clubs we take students between the ages of 6-12, through our exciting computing curriculum and prepare them for the digital future ahead! Cypher themes such as Architecture, Fashion, Robotics, Conservation, and Art, to name a few, are also integrated into our curriculum to attract all children into coding. We host a number of in-person camps and clubs across London and Live Online globally. We have taught over 3000+ children to code. We have seen phenomenal growth even during Covid and we are set to scale in 2022!

     

    Pivotal to Cypher’s success is the Customer Service Coordinator. This person is the friendly, helpful face (or voice) of Cypher to our customers, coordinates our young, enthusiastic teachers, and liaises with the schools and venues where the camps happen. The Customer Service Coordinator is also a key member of the team behind our camps working closely with our Operations Team which focuses on the successful running of our Camps and Clubs.



    The role_

    Our Customer Service Coordinator needs to be a smart, confident, dynamic, self-motivated and hardworking person who would like to help us grow our business further.  You will be outgoing and personable, friendly and customer service oriented.  

     

    An active interest or curiosity in technology is expected.

     

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Customer retention, success and growth - as the first point of contact for all phone calls and emails, answering enquiries and escalating where necessary
    • Strengthening the overall relationship with our existing customers encouraging them to re-book
    • Venue and scheduling coordination - ensuring the relationships with the venues are managed appropriately, being the first point of contact for any venue administration
    • Camp logistics to help each camp and club event runs like a well oiled machine
    • Any other duties associated with the business - we are a start-up and all get stuck in!

     

    Required Skills:

      • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
      • Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment 
      • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work 
      • Strong MS Office/Mac skills/Google Drive skills 
      • Attention to detail and problem solving skills 
    • A strong work ethic and comfortable taking on new responsibilities
    • A passion to get children future ready through education & technology
    • Experience with coding a plus but not necessary 
    • Experience with children a plus but not necessary



    LOGISTICS_

    > We would prefer the successful candidate to be based in London 

    > Most team work will be working remotely but you will be able to travel to in-person team meetings in London where required & as/when needed for logistics of inventory and operations coordination

    > 20 holiday days (to be taken outside of school holidays where possible) + 8 public bank holidays

    > £22,000 per annum
