    People and Talent Manager

    We’re looking for a People and Talent Manager to help grow and nurture our team in London and Belfast. You will be responsible for leading on recruitment across the business and managing all aspects of HR within the team. Your role will be to work on key vacancies and design innovative ways of attracting and retaining the best people. You will also be responsible for all aspects of HR and the People journey, including performance, appraisals, successfully onboarding new team members and probation management.     What you’ll be doing

    You will have responsibility for the following which may change from time to time:

    • Taking full responsibility for attracting the best new talent through through range of channels.
    • Owning the end to end talent life-cycle, you’ll operate as a business partner to hiring managers across the business and report into the COO and CEO directly, taking the lead on all aspects of hiring for Finance Operations, Data Operations and other internal function roles.
    • General administration such as keeping data up to date, defining and refining job descriptions, advertising roles, delivering offers and candidate feedback etc.
    • Working with the Executive team to help shape the wider people agenda for the business
    • Being an expert resourcer, proactively sourcing candidates using online tools, job boards, attending events, networking, referrals, head hunting etc. You’ll always know the best ways of attracting the best candidates.
    • Acting as a true business partner, being able to persuade and influence the wider business in all people matters.
    • Be responsible for the onboarding experience for new joiners, ensuring flinder is an awesome place to work from day one.
    • Lead, co-ordinate and drive the annual performance management cycle, which includes probation, periodic people manager check-ins, moderation of annual performance and communication of pay reviews.
    • Train and nuture the team in having effective People Management conversations and supporting People Managers in dealing with any issues that may arise.

    Who we’re looking for

    To be considered for the role you must have:

    • In house or agency recruitment experience with a partial focus on finance or professional servies is desirable.
    • Experience using recruitment tools; Eg. LinkedIn Recruiter, with a proven record of being able to headhunt passive candidates.
    • Genuine passion and interest in talent acquisition, management and people development.
    • Demonstrated experience dealing with performance appraisal cycle, including performance management and discipline resolution.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to pick up other new technologies.

    Additional info

    You will predominantly be based in London and travel to Belfast may be required. From time to time you may work from home depending on business needs.
