Who we are

Mention Me is the Referral Engineering™ platform for growth-obsessed ecommerce brands. Our world-class programmes have delivered more than 4m referrals totalling £1bn+ in revenue for 450+ brands around the globe.

The role

Are you an experienced Account Manager with a passion for delivering an excellent client experience?

We’re looking for a motivated and driven Senior Account Manager to join our Client team. Mention Me has been on a steep growth curve over the last few years and has established an Account Management team to drive revenue from our client base.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, building on the great relationship and reputation of Mention Me to actively seek new business from existing clients. You’ll work with Strategy Managers to ensure our clients see value from the Mention Me technology and will proactively approach for any expansion opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue for Mention Me through your own portfolio of existing client accounts
  • Proactively seek, nurture, negotiate and close expansion and upsell opportunities within your client portfolio
  • Successfully renew your client portfolio and reduce the risk of churn and contraction
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly targets

Other Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Client team to seek, manage and negotiate upsell and cross sell opportunities within your portfolio
  • Work with the revenue team to ensure we deliver the best service throughout the lifecycle of the client
  • Build strong and long-lasting client relationships with key accounts, budget holders and executive sponsors
  • Explain and demonstrate features of Mention Me to clients by performing effective online demos and business cases
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Mention Me product and benefits
  • Review and effectively manage your pipeline
  • Document all activity in our CRM system
  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues
  • Opportunity to shape how the team interacts with the rest of Mention Me, especially product and marketing


You should apply for this role if you have

  • At least 5 years experience in Account Management or Sales role within a SaaS organisation
  • Track record of over-achieving targets
  • Experience building strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels of seniority
  • An enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic
  • A dynamic individual that responds well to change and works well in a fast paced environment
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about shaping a new team in the business
  • Strength in research and problem solving
  • Strong listening and presentation skills, with a knack for building rapport quickly and establishing trust
  • Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
  • High organisation skills and attention to detail - good pipeline management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Organised, structured and able to manage different activities in parallel
