WHAT'S THIS ROLE ALL ABOUT?

Our Films team is growing and we are looking for a Motion Designer. We’re on the search for someone who will join our small team and help us to expand our capabilities and quality within the motion graphics division. We’d like somebody who has creative promise, a strong portfolio of previous work and an attitude for improvement. We have a strong foundation, but we want this person to help take our motion capabilities to the next level.

WHAT WILL YOU SPEND YOUR TIME DOING?

• Reporting to the Films Lead
• Creating motion graphics based explainer videos, lower thirds/animated sequences to support live action videos, launch/announcement videos, company wrap ups/yearly achievements, social content and much more
• Working with a wide range of brands, creating motion graphics in line with their brand guidelines and messaging meaning you will be exposed and challenged to working in many different styles
• Supporting a wider creative team to deliver on a 360 campaign using assets from all our different teams including design, product, social, creative strategy and more

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work
• Someone who is passionate about helping our team to grow and improve
• 1+ years of experience in motion design
• A strong 2D motion graphics portfolio showing examples of work across many different projects and styles
• An illustration/design background is a bonus - we often find that this helps with the quality of motion graphics output
• Some experience with 3D software (preferably Cinema 4D or Blender) - It’s not a huge focus of ours at the moment, but we’re potentially looking to expand further into this area
• Strong capabilities within the Adobe Suite - Mainly After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop
• A team focussed person that’s passionate about personal development, but also helping to elevate a team and introduce new practices and skills when possible
• Experience or enthusiasm to learn in areas such as camerawork, lighting, audio, editing is a bonus (but not required)
