    Requirements

    We're looking for a VP of Sales with B2B SaaS experience in a high-growth environment. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the sales team (currently two) and its practices as you lead it through expansion. This role will be working closely alongside the founders.

    Your Day To Day ðŸ“…

    • Create and execute the commercial sales strategies, aimed at accelerating revenue growth, engaging both SME’s and enterprise clients.
    • Hire, train, and support a growing sales team whilst creating a positive and ethical sales culture fundamental to Zinc’s values.
    • Develop, mentor, and manage the commercial and sales teams.
    • Strive to exceed revenue goals and foster a culture of excellence.
    • Develop systems and processes to ensure tracking and monitoring of success and failure so that we have a streamlined commercial function.
    • Review sales tools and approaches that make things simpler and more efficient at all stages of the sales cycle.
    • Implement market segmentation and lead expansion strategies into new geographies.
    • Learn the Zinc customer journey; identify with and incorporate our tone in your comms.
    • Engage in the HR and talent community.
    • Forecast and track key account metrics and prepare reports on account status.
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.


    Your DNA 🧬

    • Previous experience building and executing a sales strategy to facilitate rapid expansion.
    • Management experience, building and leading sales enablement for a disruptive Saas technology from startup to scale.
    • A background in enterprise sales with proven hands-on selling experience.
    • Ability to step back and look at the bigger picture.
    • Analytical mindset, comfortable identifying opportunities using data.
    • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate, inspire and motivate.
    • Proven success in managing relationships with clients and partners.
    • Entrepreneurial and relentless attitude.
    • A willingness to get your hands dirty, solve problems and do things like prospect if necessary.
    • Startup DNA; You are a do-er and a creator, not just a thinker; a driven, relationship-focused, people person.
    • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales performance metrics, e.g. quotas, pipeline, forecast accuracy
    • An enthusiastic and energetic can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment and gets stuck in with tasks involving different teams across the business.
    • High emotional intelligence, understands how to give and receive honest feedback.
    • You have the ambition and determination to shape this role yourself – we will give you lots of room to implement ideas and grow into a CRO position.
