    We are looking for an Internal Recruiter who can be part of enabling us to do so.  The successful candidate will ideally already have experience hiring brilliant tech talent into startups and major tech companies. They will have a proactive mindset and be a team player who’s comfortable working independently at times.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of proven experience as an Internal Recruiter, Recruiter or similar role placing high calibre tech talent, ideally within early to mid-stage startups
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field
    • Strong understanding of full cycle recruitment best practices
    • Great working knowledge of screening and assessing candidates for technical, data science, sales and consultancy roles
    • Experience structuring a variety of interview formats and programs to suit specific job roles
    • Strong ability to build relationships with and influence stakeholders
    • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
    • Sound knowledge of UK labour laws and regulations

     

    What the job involves

    • Innovate and drive new ways of building pipelines for attracting top talent
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to write job ads for current openings
    • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks
    • Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
    • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
    • Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance
    • Create a company brand with universities, participating in job fairs to boost the company’s presence and reputation
    • Design and implement employee referral programs
    • Actively sourcing candidates through online and off-line channels
    • Report to hiring managers and team on the status of open positions
    • Help with new hire onboarding

     

    Our Tech Stack

    To give you an idea of the type of talent you’d be hiring, we use a range of technologies in our stack across the front-end and back-end:

    • React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js, D3.js, and TailwindCSS power our front-end web application. We make extensive use of React Hooks and functional components, Redux for state management, and use Jest and React Testing Library for testing.
    • Python powers our data analysis to identify investment decision making patterns.
    • Serverless on-demand Analytics with AWS Lambda with business logic in Python and TypeScript
    • A mix of relational and object database technologies including PostgreSQL
    • A continuous deployment and integration process based on BitBucket pipelines
