Dama Health is on a mission to personalise female health, starting with contraception. Our vision is to advance the field of female reproductive health with data-driven science and technology. Our first products are a digital personalisation engine that recommends contraception types and brands based on our proprietary algorithm and a genetic test that can identify a woman's specific risks and predispositions.

We are growing our team and looking for a Strategy and Operations associate to support the Founders in the day to day activities and overarching strategy at Dama. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the future of women's health and excited to join a growing team. This role would suit someone with an academic background and an entrepreneurial spirit!

About the role

In this position, you will:

• Manage operational and strategic initiatives from inception to completion
• Support to establish and implement best practices across the company, streamlining new product development
• Identify and grow new relationships with key commercial contacts and stakeholders (clinics, GPs, hospitals, pharmacy)
• Support to establish business development strategy and operational processes (internal and external)
• Work alongside a cross disciplinary team of founders, doctors, scientists, product managers, data scientists and engineers
• Market research and customer validation
• Accountable for tracking and delivering on relevant performance indicators agreed with commercial and clinical stakeholders
• Support clinical testing and research, where necessary
• Understanding and interest to stay ahead of the game with changes and updates to national policy and strategy in contraception and the healthcare landscape, to feed into longer-term commercial strategies

About you

The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in start-ups and has an academic background, is highly organised and proactive, full of ideas and passion for Dama’s product.

• Holds a Bachelors or Masters of Science degree
• Business, partnership, strategic alliance, or commercial experience (1-2 years+)
• Experience managing projects or teams
• Must have the ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new or ambiguous
• Must have experience formulating business strategy, including structuring problems, completing analysis, and making recommendations
• Must have project management experience in a cross-functional environment
• Preferable experience in healthcare ecosystem/healthtech ecosystem
• Preferable experience in women’s health
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong proficiency in MS Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
