Since launching in 2015 (as Airsorted), we’ve partnered with thousands of happy hosts, helping them to make important earnings. The business has now expanded worldwide – we’re operating in over 20 cities globally, from Auckland to Lisbon, and there’s a lot more to come. From holidaymakers to full-time landlords, host happiness is central to everything we do. We are now looking for a great channels manager to take our channel and platform management to the next level.

     

    Position Responsibilities & Deliverables:

    Leading your team to deliver success

    • Leading and managing the channels team to ensure our listings are performing at their best across all the channels (OTA sites)
    • Coaching, developing and motivating the team
    • Collaborating with fantastic people across the business

    Be an expert in growing the distribution of homes across OTA (Online Travel Agent) Platforms

    • Manage the process of listings - build, approval, pushed to platforms and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure listings with availability are bookable on platforms, and ensure availability is correct
    • Quality control

    It’s not only about AirBnb

    • Improve the performance of properties across all channels
    • Monitor and reduce the rate of cancellations; ensure cancellations are being completed correctly, use insight to improve performance
    • Determine opportunities for further platforms and integrations

    Maintaining host and guest satisfaction, it’s at the heart of everything we do

    • Manage ad hoc customer requests or enquiries
    • Using data and insight from the platforms to improve satisfaction

     

    Requirements:

    • Experience working with channel managers, OTA’s and PMS
    • Tech savvy across multiple systems, definitely need to know your way around a spreadsheet
    • Previous experience leading a team, or ready to take this challenge on
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Great with people
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and third-party providers
    • Good organisational and time management skills
