Now we are looking for a Growth & BD Lead (f/m/x) to help us enable 1 million young professionals to learn the skills to succeed in the future of work and find their dream jobs by 2030.
This is the first growth role at Hyphen and you’ll have a wide purview. It comes with both equal measures of responsibility, great opportunities to learn and to get your hands dirty and have a real impact.
Your job will be to lead growth and own the entire go-to-market for all different stakeholders (learners, corporates and instructors) that will benefit from our innovation. This role is basically the combination of a Business Development Lead, Marketing Lead and Growth Lead (if you’ve only done one of the above, feel free to apply as we can work out the rest together).
We want you to grow into the Head of Growth or Business Development role short-term and will support you in your journey from day one.
What’s the role:
Work closely with our Founder, Raphael, and our Product Team in prioritizing the areas and types of new training programmes we aim to launch.
Responsible for the end-to-end sales process and growing customers (B2C, i.e. talents/learners and B2B, i.e. start-ups) base - this ranges from lead generation over closing to customer success.
Take responsibility for lead generation through a mix of prospecting, cold outreach, LinkedIn and community events.
Manage the sales pipeline and maintain impeccable admin and update all activities in our CRM (HubSpot).
Develop business models, structure critical metric projections, and negotiate contracts with customers.
Create and implement our performance marketing strategy and SEO strategy end-to-end.
Develop a data infrastructure to enable insights, fuel growth and run optimization experiments (e.g. referral programmes, email marketing, partnerships and social marketing).
Who are you:

At least 2+ years of experience in growth-related roles in start-ups (business development or marketing) or in Consulting, VC or Investment Banking.
Hands-on experience in outbound sales and general marketing and overall ability to get things done in a structured and detail-oriented way.
Ability to define clear processes, KPIs, and playbooks for others to follow.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the charisma to persuade students/learners as well as start-ups to use our offering.
Willingness to travel from time to time to start-up conferences, universities and our hubs in London and Berlin (soon).
(Ideally) experience in paid and unpaid marketing and SEO.
(Ideally) based in London or Berlin - we’re remote by definition but aim to build hubs in London and Berlin that our future team members should join.
