Ecommerce Marketing Manager at Dialect Fragrances

  • Dialect is on a mission to redefine the way people shop perfumes by providing affordable and green alternatives of their iconic fragrances. We aim to remove the mark-ups of the luxury fragrance industry by offering fashionable and environmentally conscious scents made in France.

    Our new brand will launch in September 2022 in the UK, before expanding to international markets in 2023.

    We are on the hunt for a tech-savvy Marketing Manager with experience in e-commerce and who worked in beauty brand previously to join us on this ambitious mission as soon as possible, working alongside our Co-founder.

    About the role:

    The Marketing Manager role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual that can play a key part in launching a new brand from day 1.


    This position is for an exceptional and ambitious person who loves the beauty industry as much as online marketing. You are self-motivated, love digital marketing and passionate about creating the next highly engaging marketing campaigns that will make the headlines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assisting the Co-founder in launching the brand, executing marketing campaigns across influencers, paid and social media
    • Building tailored trading plans and multichannel marketing strategies with precise & ambitious KPIs
    • Collaborating with the influencer outreach team to create best-in-class marketing campaigns
    • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns - Together with agencies or freelancers in performance marketing (Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram & Youtube), search marketing, affiliate marketing, social media marketing and email marketing.
    • Working with an external designer to brief top-notch creative assets across social media platforms: Tiktok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, and a digital marketing agency to implement and improve advertising
    • Analyse and track performance results; be ready to adjust approach accordingly and provide ongoing recommendations for increasing sales and improving the efficiency of marketing campaigns and messages
    • Devise strategies to drive traffic and sales via offsite ecommerce channels
    • Lead website updates and initiatives to constantly improve the customer journey and sales

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years in E-commerce, ideally experience in Beauty & Design
    • Ideally Marketing related and/or Design related education.
    • Ability to commute to London at least twice per week
    • Native English, with ability to draft blog articles, marketing materials including ad copy (strong copywriting skills required)
    • Experience in creating and executing innovative and effective marketing campaigns
    • Must be organised and rational with a structured approach to managing multiple projects.
    • Has an incredible attention to detail, a can-do attitude and an ability to think outside the box
    • A strong interest in fragrances
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, very hands on, focused on making it happen, highly ambitious and has a proactive nature
