Backed by Y Combinator, Bits is a credit building service that helps you improve your credit score without getting into unnecessary debt.

Traditional advice for building credit is to get a credit card, but there are 10 million people in the UK alone who can’t get a credit card - or any form of mainstream credit - at all and are effectively locked out of mainstream credit.

Our mission is to promote financial inclusion by providing a path to credit for those neglected by mainstream lenders.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience of UI design
• Excellent visual and interaction skills
• Excellent social skills (for customer/feedback calls)
• This job is London based - Remote Mon, Wed, Fri / In office Tue, Thu

What you’ll do:

• Work towards the main product and design direction of the whole company
• Create UI designs (for web and mobile) 
• Work at the epicentre between engineers and other teams
• Use, and mainly evolve our internal design system
• Create flows, prototypes and high-fidelity visuals for new features
• Be the first step towards establishing a design culture at Bits

What we value:

• A passion for design and finding UI/UX solutions and interaction obstacles
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Expressing ideas through prototyping (We use Figma and Framer)
• Experience with tools like PS, AI, AF, Figma/Framer and some understanding of VSCode, Orgami, and Framer
