The IT & Systems department is responsible for the day to day running of Land Tech’s IT Infrastructure. We provide internal support to all Land Tech Employees, ensuring they have everything they need to be successful. The IT Department takes care of procurement, from systems to equipment, as well as spearheading LandTech’s Compliance Obligations


Reporting to the IT & Systems Manager, you will be assisting in handling day to day support tickets

from internal staff, following onboarding and offboarding procedures, assisting with the creation and

maintenance of Compliance Policies, enforcing ISO 27001 Policies, and working with all departments to

maintain GDPR Compliance.


Your day to day at Land Tech will be filled with a whole range of tasks, and you might find that no one day

is similar to another:

  • Evolve our existing compliance policies (constantly ongoing) to scale up along with the business, ensuring that we maintain our ISO compliance
  • Assist colleagues with technical issues (Level 1 and 2 Support), ensuring issues are resolved within agreed Service Levels
  • Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting (Level 1 Support) across a range of services including all computer hardware (mobile, laptops), application software and telecommunications (fixed and mobile)
  • Research new / emergent technologies to enable us to offer an effective and efficient workplace
  • Carry out Risk Assessments with our Suppliers to ensure they are meeting our compliance requirements
  • Inspire colleagues to think security first
  • Work closely with the IT & Systems Manager to escalate issues (Level 2 and Level 3 Support)
  • Assist in onboarding / offboarding of IT Equipment
  • Ensuring that user access controls are maintained (e.g password, multi factor etc) in line with company policy
  • Manage deployment of AV updates and operating system patches to all company devices
  • Maintain enrolment of mobile devices within MDM application
  • Involvement in IT projects
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained through file replication and backup processes.
  • Ensure a compliant software position is attained and maintained.


As Land Tech continues to grow and expand, we are now seeking a new member to join our IT

Department to assist in the running of the company's internal support and compliance environment,

handling first and second line support issues, as well as maintaining and improving our compliance

obligations. This is an exciting role for the right candidate to develop their career in a friendly and

welcoming team environment.

This is an operational role requiring attention to detail to resolve problems in a timely and effective


The role may be very demanding, calling for high standards of support to be delivered. An excellent

telephone manner is essential; whilst also being proficiently skilled in document writing and able to

demonstrate strong time management skills.



  • Advanced experience of supporting Mac’s / macOS
  • Understanding of Mobile Device Management and Remote Deployment
  • Basic understanding of Bash / Powershell (nice to have, can be taught)
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Capable of quickly building rapport with a diverse mix of people
  • Calm and approachable, remaining so under pressure
  • Great team working skills, eager to offer assistance yet equally keen to accept advice and critique
  • Excellent telephone manner and good quality of written and verbal communications


  • Minimum of 3 years Internal Service Desk experience, in an IT Support role
  • Remote Profile Deployment and Mobile Device Management
  • Mac and iOS Administration
  • Proven knowledge of G suite
  • Proven skills in securing and maintaining ISO 27001 Compliance
  • Understanding of GDPR (nice to have)
  • Level 1 or Level 2 IT Support Experience
  • Building external supplier relationships

  • Bash or Powershell (nice to have)
  • Understanding of UNIX based systems (nice to have)
