Life as a Wonderbly Carrier Manager

Our postal and parcel carriers, who deliver personalised books to our customers in every corner of the globe, are the arteries of our business. Sitting within the Operations department and reporting to the Head of Ops, the Carrier Manager is at the heart.

  • Create & maintain a last order date matrix for key gifting occasions. Maximise sales by actioning all changes.
  • Maintain and improve Wonderbly’s internal carrier system
  • Manage and update shipping related costs.
  • Carrier management across multiple markets
  • Manage external stakeholders and third party suppliers
  • Assist the onboarding of new print houses and carriers

Analysis

  • Provide weekly/monthly analysis of carriers and global shipping lanes, presenting findings & recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Analyse and reconcile carrier invoices
  • Continuously seek better commercial options whilst ensuring the customer has the best possible experience
  • Using data, identify potential improvements or predict service disruptions
