    You and the role

    We’re now looking to hire our first ‘People person’ to help us significantly grow our headcount (UK and Europe) and nurture our team. As our first People hire, you’ll play a leading role in laying down processes, structure and reporting for all things hiring and retention while helping us bring on lots of new team members. You’ll be working closely with the CEO and management to understand our growth plans and helping us build the right team to fulfil them.


    With us, you will…

    • Own and iterate on all of our People processes, policies, tools and workflows
    • Be a key sounding board on all hiring plans
    • Benchmark salaries and feed into financial planning
    • Assist hiring managers with job ads, screening and arranging interviews
    • Organise regular team events
    • Own and enhance our company benefits programme
    • Help staff with any HR queries or issues
    • Work with finance to help payroll run smoothly
    • Provide coaching to managers
    • Manage the office and lead our workplace strategy
    • Run regular employee engagement surveys and sessions 
    • Build and manage a training curriculum
    • Innovate to boost morale, help retention and increase engagement


    • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Hugely organised and naturally proactive
    • Collaborative skills and ability to work with multiple teams across the business
    • Start-up attitude  - you're comfortable in a rapidly changing environment where the answer is not always clear, working with the resources at hand and delivering high-quality work.
    • 4+ years experience in People, HR or Recruitment
    • Highly computer literate with good knowledge of HR and Recruitment systems
    • General knowledge of employment law in the UK (+ Europe a real bonus)
