The ideal candidate will be given the opportunity to play a critical role in the company. He or she will be undertaking various roles, from overlooking current accounts, taking orders, organising deliveries, sending out e-newsletters and offers, and plenty more. We are looking for an individual who is a food lover and intrigued by all things food related. You must be interested in seafood and culinary diversity!

Job Specs

Commercial:

• Taking orders on the phone and via email
• Calling customers and offering products
• Finding new customers / cold calling
• Benchmarking
• Issuing payment requests
• Offering new products
• Visiting customers
• Liaising with cold store and transport
• Chasing up logistics between the warehouse and customers
• Gaining feedback on products
• Collecting market information to anticipate market trends and support new products developments.
• Producing/updating catalogues

Skills

• Organisation is key. Working in a start-up means you will need to be hands on at all times, so it’s very important to organise your time and tasks effectively
• Personable and friendly approach. You will be dealing with customers directly, we like to build close relationships with our customer while still being professional
• Persistant, sharp, and a quick decision maker
• Working well under pressure with tight deadlines
• Able to enjoy working with people from different cultures and communities
• Knowledge of another language is desired but not essential

Package:

• £30,000 - £35,000 Salary depending on experience
• Hybrid working available
• 28 days of holidays (not including bank holidays)
• Great London location office with on-site gym
