    Outside of big cities, traditional public transport is just not good enough. In many places, if you don’t have a car, you might find it difficult to get to work, access healthcare, or get to the supermarket. 

    While almost all transport technology companies focus exclusively on huge cities like London, New York or Berlin, RideTandem is the first technology company focused on directly improving transport options for people living in towns and small cities. 

    RideTandem’s tech-enabled partnerships with local taxi, minibus and coach companies offer a uniquely flexible alternative, providing employers, local governments and others with bespoke transport solutions that also do good in the world. By making it easier for our passengers to share their commutes and other journeys, we’re reducing the number of cars on the road, and enabling our passengers to earn £2m+ of wages/month in roles they’d otherwise not be able to even get to.

    About the Role

    We are looking for a Sales Lead to join our fast paced commercial team. You will play a key role in our business development team to promote RideTandem’s products and services to new and existing prospects and to grow our business and its social impact


    • Researching potential new leads
    • Leading sales calls
    • Working with other members of the team to align our product offering with clients needs
    • Updating our customer relationship management (CRM) system to reflect activity
    • Managing the full sales cycle from engagement to close - whilst you will be supported by a BDR, you will also be expected to lead from the front and generate your own leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn and emails. 

    About you

    • You enjoy being part of a small, but fast-growing team solving meaningful problems and are motivated by our purpose and mission
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to think creatively and strategically
    • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve ambitious targets
    • Commercial awareness
    • A clear understanding of MEDDIC sales methodology and how to apply it
    • Experience selling into employers or recruitment agencies desirable but not essential

    We’re building our team to be ‘remote-first’. Our team is based across different parts of the  country (and the world), so whilst we’ll speak every day (often multiple times!) – you should feel confident working solo. 

    NB: we do have an office space in London (for occasional in-person working and you’re welcome to work there some days (or every day if you like!)
