Sales Manager - Sonrai Analytics at Forward Partners

Sonrai Analytics is a Belfast-based AI data discovery company that helps Biotech and Pharma companies get maximum value from their data.

Sonrai was created in response to a growing need within precision medicine for a platform that could integrate large-scale multi-omic data types and generate meaningful insights and hypotheses, leading to the discovery of novel therapies and biomarkers.

Their data analytics platform is sold on a licence fee basis, along with accompanying data science and software engineering professional services.

Their clients and partners already include some of the biggest names around and they’re now looking to recruit a Sales Manager to help them deliver their strategy.

  • Developed an Inbound Marketing Automation pipeline to drive our commercial growth
  • Grown our customer base across a range of CROs, biotech’s and pharma companies globally

  • Won a prestigious £2.3m Artificial Intelligence in Health and Care Award to deliver novel AI cancer screenings across the NHS.

Opportunity & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to work directly with Sonrai Analytics’ CEO and Co-Founder to build out their Sales capability as they grow.

The focus of the role is to develop and execute commercial sales opportunities that will promote sales growth within the organisation. This role will be hands-on in building momentum with sales strategy and furthering potential opportunities. Building commercial value for Sonrai Analytics will be central.

This is an opportunity to take ownership and define Sonrai’s Sales activities.

Your day to day:

  • Work with the CEO to align the Sales and commercial strategy to business objectives.
  • Build the sales funnel and insure conversion metric are in place to hit target
  • Help develop and work towards Sales & Marketing KPIs.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to plan and execute SMART marketing campaigns.
  • Manage a CRM database to track opportunities, leads and deal closure
  • Assist with Marketing Automation Pipeline to support the Sales function.
  • Work with engineering/data science development teams to nurture leads and provide successful demos.
  • Maintain routine Market Surveillance, Competitor and Customer Analysis.
  • Generate a monthly report on sales performance
  • Support copywriting (blog posts, white papers, product/company news, etc.) to stimulate Sales
  • Discuss the Sales budget and direct resources for maximum return.
  • Help train fellow employees in best practices and positive Sales performance

As a growing Tech start-up, Sonrai offers a flexible working environment with employees free to work remotely or to use our Belfast office depending on personal preference. UK and international travel may be required as necessary to attend sales meetings and conferences.

Essential Criteria

  • Life Sciences degree/qualification
  • 2 years’ experience of working in the Life Sciences sector
  • 2+ years experience in a B2B Sales rol.
  • Demonstrable experience of planning and implementing successful Sales campaigns.
  • Demonstrable success of developing leads and sales within a B2B environment.
  • Deep understanding of delivering business value and outcomes
  • Excellent verbal, written, and video communication skills
  • Alignment with Sonrai’s culture and values
  • A self assured, driven, and structured personality, able to build excellent customer relationships.
  • Ability to work fast, learn quickly, and keep moving forward.
  • A proven ability to meet deadlines

Desirable Criteria

  • Understanding/appreciation of start-up culture
  • Proficiency with HubSpot
  • A proven track record of success, with 2+ years of experience in customer success, sales, account management in a healthcare SaaS or software company.
  • Self-motivated and able to effectively manage customer activities without frequent supervision
  • The ability to follow up and write briefs
