    About The Company

    Kula is an early stage London based start-up on a mission to improve the way people enjoy food, all over the world. We are creating a platform that provides users with unrivalled data on what dishes they should order from restaurants, what restaurants they'll enjoy most and technology to improve their dining experience.

    In parallel, we are dedicated to providing restaurants with the first easy to use, predictable and scalable advertising solution on the market.

    We are a company with global ambitions and we are seeking an experienced and talented Co-Founder/CTO to compliment the skills of our current Founder.     About The Role

    Kula is looking for an ambitious technical co-founder that is excited about building a product that improves the way people all over the world enjoy food. In the early days you will be instrumental in discussions on the direction of the MVP, have an input into the design and ideally have some ability to build some or all of it.

    Your duties will be decided primarily by what your strengths are but you will have an equal say in the direction of the product, the prioritisation of builds and the overall direction of the business.

    If you are someone who has a lot of technical experience, you have ambitions of creating your own thing and you're excited by transforming the food industry then we want to speak with you!

    About You

    The ideal candidate would be extremely technical and possess knowledge of a number of different programming languages, systems and feel confident advising on the software we should utilise.

    You are ambitious, possess a desire to start a global business and have experience working in a range of different positions within startups. You are an executor, detail oriented and outcome focused.

    You may have experience leading technical teams as you will be responsible for creating and implementing best practices from a development, Q&A, fulfilment standpoint and instrumental in setting our business up technically for long term success. 

    Ultimately we are looking for someone that is going to bring experience, enthusiasm, ambition and excellence to what we know is an incredible opportunity.

    Experience in building apps and or building successful startups would be looked on favourably but not essential.

    About Our Founder

    Our Founder has a strong background in sales having started his career selling advertising solutions for News Corp Australia across Google, Facebook, digital and print. He was recognised for having the best sales results out of over 600+ staff nationwide in his first two years before moving into management.

    After relocating to London, he worked in an early stage start-up as the Head of Business Development before being head hunted to join bark.com as VP Sales. In this time he was responsible for creating their entire sales function from scratch and building out a global team of over 20 sales people. This team was instrumental in helping bark claim 7th on the Tech Track 100 list for fastest growing startups.

    In its first year, the team brought in £13m in revenue which is higher than the entire business the year prior. He was a part of the small leadership team and responsible for a number of key decisions and product launches that were instrumental in barks growth and success. After a successful exit in May he is now investing time and money on transforming the food industry.

    He is extremely ambitious, an expert in sales, has solid marketing skills, excellent people and leadership skills and experience building successful startups. If you think you're skills compliment his then we want to speak with you!
