    About the role

    This role is in our London-based marketing team and is a Maternity Leave FTC. You will be responsible for delivering brand campaigns and communications that deliver quantifiable commercial results. Utilising our differentiated and highly competitive proposition: ‘Dealers compete to give you their best price’.

    The role will involve:

    • Play a lead role in driving Motorway to become a household name and definitively positioning us as the best way to sell your used car online.
    • Working with world-class creative and media marketing agencies to deliver the 2023 brand communications plan - to do this you’ll need to ensure we have the most effective brand comms and lead the production of new assets when required.
    • You’ll have support of a Brand Manager and a Senior Brand Executive to help you manage and execute these plans - you’ll be responsible for nurturing their ongoing development and skills growth.
    • Track and report delivery against agreed brand and marketing KPIs, sales and customer acquisition targets.
    • Work with cross-functional teams across the company as well as externally to ensure an optimised brand campaign execution.
    • Continuous measurement and optimisation of media to ensure campaigns are effective and deliver against targets.
    • Develop and deliver a pipeline of tests within communications channels, to maximise the effectiveness of the marketing budget to achieve agreed targets.
    • Ensuring targets are met within the agreed budget for brand marketing. Monitoring and reconciling spend across a number of media channels as well as production and fees.
    • Lead the forecasting process for brand marketing campaign.

    Requirements

    • A strong history of relevant ATL brand and direct response campaigns and communications experience, with demonstrable evidence of the role and results you’ve delivered building market leading brands, ideally with direct experience in a high-scale online business.
    • Insight driven with analytical capability to demonstrate commercial results. You’ll be consistently curious in the pursuit of excellence, customer obsessed, brand focused and highly creative.
    • Working closely with and reporting into our Brand Marketing Director, you’ll thrive on having the responsibility of delivering our brand campaigns.
    • Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure.
    • Excellent communicator both oral and written, with an ability to simplify complexity and take people with you, working at the most senior levels inside and outside of the business.
    • Possessing a strong commercial focus, you’ll be focused on driving ROI and value creation for our brand and business in all related activities, with a core focus on successful agency management.
    • Organised and able to define and adapt when required the right working practices and processes with all stakeholders, that lead to optimum business outcomes.
    • Excellent relationship builder and stakeholder manager at all levels, with a solid track record and experience of agency management.
    • A deep, ever-improving understanding of the latest creative and media best practice.
