1Mind is currently building the first multi-vector platform bringing the entire mental health sector together, enabling us to work with clients, individual practitioners, and practices and clinics.
Our co-founding team has experience building & scaling companies (largest education company in China), e-commerce (Amazon), research and academia (2x Doctorates), and includes a former President of the British Psychological Society.
We focus on providing clients with better user experience and better match. 1Mind streamlines the client’s search journey (directory, booking, payment, and therapy delivery) and has designed diverse and personalised filters to improve on client-therapist match.
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our demand generation as we build and grow our platform. On our supply side, we have had better than expected success in therapist signups (500+/4wks). Now we need to spread the word and increase our awareness with customers (demand side). This role ideally suits someone comfortable with dealing with quantitative data and who uses it as a foundation for their decision making - as we build out the marketing team we will have opportunities to build brand awareness and brand strategy, but initially we need to focus on solid numbers.
The Head of Marketing will focus on customer demand generation across multiple channels, both online (paid search/paid social/SEO) and offline, so this role will suit someone who is willing to both design and execute strategies to drive demand at a competitive CAC. Our ideal candidate is someone who prioritises data when making decisions and is able to dive deep into root causes to identify problems and solutions. We’re looking for someone who can structure and test hypotheses quickly to allow high speed decision making as we’re in the early stages we need to try as many approaches as possible in a structured way.
You’ll report directly to the COO (ecommerce backbackground) and will actively shape the development of 1Mind over the next few years as we grow from a start-up into one of the larger players in the mental health sector.

We are building the platform with a selected 100 therapists working together with us.
5+ years of experience in performance marketing in a B2C environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Advanced level Excel or equivalent.
Proven ability creating complex marketing/sales initiatives for which you define the strategy and measurement with limited guidance
Experience in working with and effectively managing external agency suppliers
Familiarity with performance marketing and data driven decision making
Ability to build tracking mechanisms from scratch
Ability to be inspiring and be inspired upon
MBA or Master’s degree in marketing or product management field.
Familiarity with SQL; Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
