    Introduction

    We are searching for a creative and focused Product Marketing Manager to also lead our Community efforts. Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, the Product Marketing & Community Lead will have overall responsibility for marketing the Mindstone product and developing a high-quality, thriving community. This is a great opportunity for someone with a flair for brand & product positioning, with a track record of taking an embryonic product from conception through to mass market appeal.

    Requirements

    Responsibilities

    Product Marketing

    • Work closely with the CPO on customer development to understand pain points and audience demographic, informing both the product development process, but also your own go-to-market strategy.
    • Formulate and own the go-to-market strategy, thinking carefully about where to position the product channel wise, what messages to test, and what tools to use to support this experimental phase.
    • Ideate on messaging, content, creative ideas to help position the product and move us closer towards the overall vision.
    • Run a sequence of experiments to rapidly testing messaging and positioning, iterating and handling campaign tests yourself (owning creative > setup > analysis hands on end-to-end).
    • Assistance with developing a best in class onboarding strategy.

    Community

    • Formulate and own the community strategy including setup, guidelines, growth, and feedback loops back into the product.
    • Research best in class communities (consumer propositions) and develop a performance framework to ensure Mindstone’s community is thriving, delivering maximum value for users.
    • Position appropriate content with Mindstone’s community, driving engagement and delivering ongoing value with highly relevant pieces.
    • Work closely with the product team to ensure community feedback is a big part of product decision making.

    Background & Skills

    • You will have experience working in product marketing and community for a VC-backed tech startup.
    • You will have a flair for brand, written positioning, and content creation (the last one does not need to be hands on or expert, more of an eye and interest is fine).
    • You are familiar working in a product-centric environment, running regular experiments, doing high quality analysis, and learning constantly.
    • You will be an excellent communicator; positive, empathetic, and clear - a real team player.
