We’re Houst. A professional management service for properties. Our mission is to make hosting on websites hassle-free for everyone using technology to disrupt the short-term accommodation sector. We’ve grown fast, and planning to grow 10x in size by the end of 2023.

The business has now expanded worldwide – we’re operating in over 20 cities globally, from Auckland to Lisbon, and there’s a lot more to come. About the role:

We are looking for a bright candidate who has had experience in a Growing function (Not Marketing). Someone who gets excited at the idea of working at a Startup and using their innovation.

  • You will be responsible for our top line growth and maximising customer value.
  • You will not only build attribution models, but will understand in depth the host lifecycle and be responsible for net revenue churn metrics.
  • You will be data focused and determined in your resolve to track every interaction.
  • Reporting directly to our Managing Director, and working with all teams across the business, you will be responsible for helping bring new initiatives to the table and iterate on existing ones.
  • Forging close relationships across the management team; this will be focused on where we rapidly scale consumer acquisition and drive retention.
  • Working with the Data, Tech, Operations and Sales teams, you will devise and execute a range of strategies to discover what works and what doesn’t, applying creative approaches to develop new methods of acquiring and keeping users, deriving insight, communicating it to other senior leaders and iterating our approaches.
  • The business is looking to capitalise on the huge growth opportunity that the post-Pandemic travel landscape presents. You will need to be able to call upon your prior experience to drive and refine our media, user, and retention strategies as we go.


  • Experience in a high-growth environment, managing a team of data minded specialists
  • Strong knowledge of the digital media landscape and user acquisition & retention across several countries and the means to research and synthesise knowledge about new markets quickly
  • You will be overly familiar with Pirate Metrics, Funnels, Loops and more. You will live and breathe data and attribution.
  • Experienced revenue-driver with a proven track record in a Growth orientated role.
  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent team leadership skills, creating a positive team culture to develop, hire, and retain exceptional talent.
  • You will be a confident presenter, equally confident speaking at our monthly company Townhall and to our board & investors.
  • You will be comfortable planning and spending a significant media budget in the £ms and beyond, and will be accountable for optimisation and reporting results.


  • £65,000 - £70,000 compensation
