The Role

The Customer Experience team sits at the heart of Swyft. We work hard to ensure we deliver on our customer promise and fix things as quickly as possible when things don’t always go to plan. We’re the face of Swyft and it’s our goal to surprise and delight customers by delivering a customer experience that goes above and beyond expectations. 

In Customer Experience Support, you will be predominantly responsible for responding to customer queries via email, phone, live chat and social media channels in a timely and professional manner.  The role covers both inbound and outbound communications.

Key day-to-day tasks

  • Respond to customer queries through live chat, email, social media and phone.
  • Take ownership of problems and use initiative to fix customer issues (i.e. dealing with faulty goods, processing refunds, arranging returns).
  • Problem solve with our warehouse and logistics partners.
  • Provide feedback on customer contact to ensure continual improvements are made, both to the overall customer experience and our internal processes.
  • Work with your colleagues to identify and highlight trends in customer queries.
  • Assist the Customer Experience Management Team with ad hoc tasks.

This role will be based at our UK Warehouse in Dunstable, Luton. You'll be a key link between our remote-based Customer Experience Team, and our UK based Warehouse Staff. You'll handle customer queries, but will also work with colleagues through the day to important customer orders are picked, inspected, quality controlled and dispatched in good order. You will also work with our UK Distribution Manager to ensure smooth planning of customer deliveries and collections.

The Basics

  • Salary £22,000 - £24,000 Depending on Experience
  • 25 days holiday + unlimited days for “cool” activities (eg: sky diving)

About You

Direct customer service experience (i.e e-commerce or shopfloor retail) isn’t essential but would stand any application in good stead. Either way, you should be confident in working with uncertainty, and be able to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure.

It’ll of course be challenging at times, but in return, you’ll get to work with a great team, develop personally, learn fresh skills, and be able to create new opportunities for yourself within the company as we continue to grow.
