    Salary: £30-32K

    Location: Fulham, London HQ

    About us:

Adzuna is a job search engine that lists every job, everywhere. From its launch in the UK in 2011, we now have more than ten million visitors a month and are busy conquering the world from our offices in West London and numerous remote locations. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s most dynamic and fastest-growing startups.

    The role:

Adzuna’s success to date has been down to the skills, hard work and determination of the brilliant and diverse group of people we have hired across the globe.

Right now, we're seeking a Graduate/Junior Delivery Manager to support our Government and Data Intelligence teams in the delivery of key products and services. This is an incredible opportunity to take our Govtech and Data offerings to the next level. You’ll be making a difference by delivering a best-in-class experience to users of some of our high profile tools and services (including one of the busiest services in Government) and acting as a key interface between our clients and the Adzuna product and technical teams.

You’ll be joining a growing Adzuna Product team and working alongside product managers, data scientists, developers and infrastructure engineers. You’ll be expected to become a subject matter expert in our Gov and Data products and use this knowledge to solve issues, unblock problems, support our clients/customers and work with the respective teams to plan and deliver new features that delight our users.

The Product team will benefit from your experience to date but even more important is the passion you bring to work every day. You will strive for excellence, try new things, inspire and engage those around you and feel ownership of overall company success as well as pride in doing your bit. Like everyone here, you will act like an owner, be a team player and make a difference. It’s an opportunity to work with a smart team led by experienced management and dedicated and passionate Founders.

    Responsibilities:

Working under the guidance and mentorship of the Head of Government Services, you’ll be:

    Supporting our clients/services:

    • ensuring that services are being seamlessly delivered to end users and that our Gov and Data clients are receiving first-rate technical support
    • becoming a subject matter expert in our Gov and Data products and services
    • responding promptly and efficiently to general and technical queries raised in the service helpdesk and following established processes to log, track and resolve issues
    • analysing common pain points and identifying opportunities to improve processes and our response/delivery times
    • working with client teams to resolve issues using your problem solving skills and knowledge of the product
    • documenting issues that require technical resource and working with the Adzuna product manager to prioritise and schedule with the technical team
    • attending regular meetings with our Gov client and the product manager to provide service updates and field queries
    • monitoring service performance against contractual obligations (SLAs/KPIs) and producing monthly reports

    Maintaining delivery momentum:

    • working with the product manager to understand priorities and focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of our products and services
    • managing, escalating and communicating dependencies
    • identifying obstacles/blockers and helping the team overcome them
    • identifying internal/external risks and issues and escalating them to the product manager and development team

    Planning service enhancements:

    • working with product managers to facilitate discovery sessions and gather requirements for new service features and enhancements
    • assisting the product manager to create user stories with clear acceptance criteria and scenarios, and validating with the technical team
    • end-to-end delivery - ensuring the tribe is working towards agreed deadlines, limiting scope creep and identifying/mitigating risk

Ensuring the quality of our output:

    • working with the product and technical teams to carry out QA on delivered features and assisting clients with their user acceptance testing
    • assisting the product manager in writing test plans for the delivery of new features
    • keeping up-to-date with QA best practices and suggesting improvements

    Applying Agile practices:

    • assisting the product manager in the running of agile ceremonies, including team stand-ups, retros, backlog prioritisation, etc
    • helping administer the team Jira board and other agile tools
    • keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and recommending ways we can improve

    Requirements

    • Educated to degree level - preferably with substantial technical, analytical or numerical elements - or work experience within a similar field
    • Excellent communication skills, including an ability to tailor language/writing for different audiences
    • Excellent rapport builder and active listener who can give clear, actionable feedback and motivate everyone to work towards a common goal
    • Meticulous attention to detail, highly numerate, organised, able to assimilate information and make quick decisions
    • Ambitious, energetic, bright and action-oriented - can take ownership of a problem and work with the team to explore/deliver impactful solutions
    • Ability to work unsupervised and under direction, as part of a team or as an individual
    • Technically adept - experience using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly get to grips with other tools/software packages

It’s a bonus if you have:

    • Experience working in a technical customer support, technical delivery or project management role
    • Knowledge of or experience in applying Agile principles in practice
    • An awareness of Agile tools and ability to use them intelligently (e.g. Jira or a similar ticketing system)
    • Understanding of the different phases of product delivery lifecycle
    • Experience working with developers and remote teams

    Benefits

    • Onboarding, support and mentorship: As part of your onboarding and ongoing support you will have regular check-in’s and training sessions with the Head of Government services to ensure you have all the necessary resources/opportunities to learn and develop and pave your way for success.
    • Reward: We offer a competitive financial package which includes competitive salary, stock options (we are all owners!) and a contributory pension scheme.
    • Wellbeing: Amongst other things, we offer healthcare through Babylon Health; enhanced maternity and paternity leave; 25 days paid holiday per year plus 8 bank holidays; and a full programme of wellbeing activities and events.
    • Hybrid working: We are a fully hybrid company - half our workforce are remote. With employees located in different time zones, we embrace asynchronous work and ensure that everything we do reflects the hybrid nature of our workforce so that everyone feels included. We also have a travel programme to help facilitate teamwork across our global teams.
    • Flexible working: For those working out of one of our offices (non-remote), we have a flexible working policy which means any full time employee can work from home 2-3 days per week - you can choose your office days. You can also request to work additional days from home. If you need additional flexibility, then let us know
    • Diversity & inclusion: We are committed to hiring a diverse workforce and creating an environment where everyone feels included and welcome. Our D&I committee helps deliver a programme of activities and actions to support this important area of focus.
    • Training: Learning and development is an important pillar of our culture and there are plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and grow whether through our Adzuna Academy training programme, attending conferences, team training budgets, individual development plans and coaching from experienced and supportive peers and managers.
    • Fun stuff: We have a packed social calendar, twice annual global team get-togethers and an enviable culture thanks to the amazing and smart people who make Adzuna a great place to work. Lots of this is done virtually to ensure that everyone is included.
