    The role

    We are looking for an Infrastructure based in London to join us in building our Causal AI technology to optimise every business on the planet. This is a full-time placement with significant opportunities for personal development and growth.

     

     

    What you’ll do

    As an Engineer first, focusing on Infrastructure you’ll be pivotal to implementing and maintaining our core infrastructure as code and ensuring the availability, performance, and security of new and existing infrastructure. You’d have the opportunity to work on multiple cloud architectures and have a real impact on the foundations of our products.

     

    A successful candidate will be the one that helps the team work smart, fast and clean, eliminating toil, automating where sensible, and making good tech choices.

    What you will be working on

     

    The Core Infrastructure team is made up of Engineers who are heavily collaborative, focusing on supporting the business needs of stakeholders throughout our company and our customers. Working closely with, enabling and empowering our platform engineering, Machine Learning and Applied Data Science teams, this role is an opportunity for engineers that want to expand their knowledge in multiple cloud infrastructures and work in a modern, SaaS application stack. You’d be eager to take on the opportunity to make a real difference in how our products, solutions and infrastructure operates on a daily basis.

     

    Some of your responsibilities will include:

    • Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform

    • Security hardening and operational management of cloud infrastructure

    • Managing Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud vendors.

    • Working closely with the team to ensure compliance with security & regulatory frameworks and proactively responding to issues and vulnerabilities identified.

    • Enhancing observability and visibility of our infrastructure, systems and processes

    • Act as an escalation point for technical and internal IT issues

    • Analyse and make recommendations to improve infrastructure, network, and reliability of systems, threats and vulnerabilities to improve the security posture of IT systems

     

    • Candidates would ideally have 1 years professional experience
    • Strong experience with Linux and Ubuntu
    • Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible.
    • Production Development experience in at least one scripting language - preferably Python
    • Experience with cloud services and Docker

    Nice To Haves

    • Knowledge and interest in InfoSec and DevSecOps

    • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

    • Understanding of the full stack is preferable (REST backends and SPA frontends)

    • Strong Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (code review, version control, tooling, testing, etc.)

    • Interest in Machine Learning and MLOps

    • Interest in data pipelines and processing, working with big data (>100GB)

    • Familiarity with cloud native ecosystem
