Primarily focused on the Delegated Authority sector, distriBind allows data to be passed from distribution to capacity in a highly automated manner whether using real-time APIs or more traditional bordereaux.

Job Overview
The senior DevOps engineer will support the development team to meet requirements and the company’s wider technology strategy.
As an experienced DevOps engineer, they will be comfortable building and maintaining pipelines and infrastructure using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) to support the business and improve the release process.
Duties
- Being responsible for DevOps within distriBind
- Building and supporting the DevOps pipelines
- Owning the deployment process through all environments
- Supporting and configuring environments
- Working on ways to improve the development and release processes
- Collaborating with Developers / QA
- Support the creation of documentation
- Other activities as required from time to time to support the goals of the company and targets set
Required Experience
- Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, CI/CD, software version management)
- 2-5 years building pipelines in Azure DevOps, targeting App services, VM’s, Azure functions and Azure SQL
- Expert knowledge of GIT
- Knowledge of Azure pricing structures and cost models
- Knowledge of Application Insights
- Knowledge of Docker / Terraform
- Knowledge of Azure SQL
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Bash / Python / JavaScript
- Knowledge of the development lifecycle / Agile / Scrum
- Professional approach and exceptional communication skills, able to interact with people at all levels
- Experience working with tools for data ingestion is a significant advantage, as is experience in Insurance
