• We are looking for a Senior Controller, reporting to Clevertech’s Director of Finance.
• Must have experience in the professional services industry

Day-to-day accounting responsibilities

• Oversee Clevertech’s financial health by taking ownership of the financial reporting process.
• Oversees internal control execution, assists with budget preparation, ensures reporting compliance, and manages the transaction reporting process.
• Act as audit liaison and ensure financial compliance *Being aware of current processes, understanding company weaknesses, engaging employees with training, and openly communicating areas of opportunity to safeguard assets better.

• 7+ years of previous experience in a similar role
• Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, or business, master's degree is preferred
• Advanced experience using QuickBooks and being able to handle multiple entities
• International financial accounting experience, especially with Canada
• Experience with multiple-state reporting
• Experience working with regulatory compliance
• Exemplary attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

The position will be 100% remote in EST Only USA-based Candidates will be considered at this stage.
